Jesu, Sun Down/Sun Rise (EP).

2007

Sun Down / Sun Rise is the fifth release by Jesu. The EP was released on 12" colored vinyl in two limited formats through Aurora Borealis on April 23, 2007. The tracks had seen a prior release as a bonus CD appended to the Japanese version of Conqueror issued via Daymare. It has subsequently seen a second pressing via Aurora Borealis and Hydra Head in different colours. According to Broadrick's blog, it was originally intended for an end of 2006 release, prior to the release of Conqueror (which was projected for early 2007 in the same entry) and may therefore be considered to fall in between Silver and Conqueror from a continuity standpoint. Ted Parsons does not feature on this recording.

Track listing:

  1. "Sun Down" - 17:30
  2. "Sun Rise" - 15:12

Camel, Rajaz.

1999
Camel's latter-day discs appear to be "more about setting a mood and creating a movie than writing self-standing, memorable songs." In 1999, Latimer, Stewart, Bass and guest Scherpenzeel, recorded Rajaz. Set in ancient times, Rajaz was a spontaneous composition inspired by the rhythm of the camel's footsteps to help the weary travelers reach their destination. Latimer was smitten with the idea that the rhythm of the camel would help people reach their journey's end, and this album truly took Camel back to their prog-rock roots.

Track listing;
  1. Three Wishes (6:58)
  2. Lost And Found (5:38)
  3. The Final Encore (8:07)
  4. Rajaz (8:15)
  5. Shout (5:15)
  6. Straight To My Heart (6:23)
  7. Sahara (6:44)
  8. Lawrence (10:46)
