Melvins, (A) Senile Animal.

2006
The Melvins are an American experimental sludge metal/grunge band that usually perform as a trio. Singer/guitarist Buzz Osborne (aka "King Buzzo") and drummer Dale Crover are constant members, but the band has seen several bass guitarists. They have occasionally added a guest or second guitarist for live performances. The band was named after a supervisor at the Thriftway in Montesano, Washington where Osborne served as a clerk (and vandal). Melvin was greatly despised, and the band's members felt it to be an appropriately ridiculous name.

Fantômas, The Director's Cut.

2001
Fantômas is an avant-garde metal band formed in 1998 in California, United States. The band was formed when singer Mike Patton composed a handful of spasmic, avant-garde metal songs just before the collapse of his earlier group, Faith No More. Patton then sent the original compositions to his friends, hoping to form a performing group: guitarist Buzz Osborne (of The Melvins), bassist Trevor Dunn (also of Mr. Bungle, the band he and Patton [and Trey Spruance] formed in high school) and drummer Igor Cavalera (of Sepultura). Cavalera declined the offer, but recommended who he thought would be perfect for the project: Dave Lombardo of Slayer.
